Sandals Ochi in Jamaica is the cheapest at $210 per person per night. Negril follows at $224, then Halcyon Beach and Regency La Toc in Saint Lucia at ~$289. Jamaica still gives you the lowest entry rates of any island, though Saint Lucia is closer than most people expect.
At the top, Sandals Montego Bay opens at $511 per person per night – this resort is currently closed for a complete renovation though, see details below.

We also rank the best Sandals resorts based on our experience in what people actually want and how the resort delivers. By combining these two factors, we created this guide on which resorts provide the best value.
One factor moves the needle more than most people realize: Stay at One, Play at Two or Three. Where the sister resort is ten minutes away, that exchange roughly doubles what your rate buys. Where it is a long shuttle ride down the coast, it looks good in a brochure but people never actually go. I have flagged which is which.
1. Sandals Dunn’s River
Sandals Dunn’s River consistently ranks as one of the best Sandals resorts. It came out of a top-to-bottom rebuild in 2023, so you are paying a mid-tier rate for a property that still feels new, with beachfront SkyPools and the Coyaba Sky Rondovals at the top end.
The exchange is the real multiplier here. Sandals Ochi is ten minutes up the road, close enough that guests actually go. That takes you from 12 restaurants to 28 for no extra money, and Upton Estate greens fees are included at both. Ten minutes is the difference between an exchange you use three times in a week and one you use once.
The major drawback is long drive from the airport. Ninety minutes from Sangster each way, and the closer airport at Ian Fleming is not really an option for most people.
2. Sandals Negril

Only Ochi comes in cheaper, and Sandals Negril is a better resort.
Sandals Negril is located on Jamaica’s famed Seven Mile Beach – in my opinion, the best beach in Jamaica. Its prime location gives unparalleled access to the island’s pristine shorelines and crystal-clear waters.
We love that it has a casual yet chic vibe that encourages relaxation and romance. It’s definitely a more authentic Jamaican feel as you are far from the busy Montego Bay area.
Negril also has the cheapest butler suite in the group at $325. That is less than what eight other resorts charge for their base room. If butler service is what you want and the island is negotiable, this is a great option.
3. Sandals South Coast

Sandals South Coast sits on two miles of private beach inside a 500-acre nature preserve, and it is the most genuinely secluded Sandals in Jamaica.
The real wildcard here is the resort has been closed since October 2025. It’s 3rd on our best value list because what we have seen from Sandals looks amazing, and we expect this resort to be better than ever. At the current pricing, that’s a great deal.
No sister resort, ninety minutes from Montego Bay, and little within reach that is not an organized excursion. Floyd’s Pelican Bar and the seven tiers of YS Falls are both worth the trip.
4. Sandals Grande Antigua

Every resort above this one is in Jamaica. Sandals Grande Antigua is the cheapest way onto a different island. It sits directly on Dickenson Bay, which is the best stretch of sand on the island.
The airport run is twenty minutes which is a real advantage over the ninety-minute Jamaica transfers. Although, Antigua is more difficult to get to for most people.
No sister resort and no golf, so there is no sister resort to stretch the rate, and eleven restaurants is the ceiling for the week. The two villages are also a genuine choice rather than a detail: beachfront and casual on one side, bluff views and plunge pools on the other, with a hill in between.
5. Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Sandals Grande St. Lucian is consistently one of the highest rated Sandals locations. With 5 resorts that are more expensive, Grande St Lucian is one of our favorite places to recommend for the value.
It sits on its own peninsula with Rodney Bay on one side and open sea on the other, a mile of sand with no rocks, and the island’s only overwater bungalows.
Stay at One, Play at Three gets you La Toc and Halcyon Beach for 28 restaurants across the island, which is the widest exchange Sandals offers. But this is a shuttle ride down the coast rather than a ten-minute hop like the Ocho Rios pair, so build it into a plan instead of assuming you will wander over.
The 3 resorts run from North to South on the West Coast. Note this is only the travel time – you will have to wait for the shuttle as well.

The transfer from Hewanorra is about an 80 minutes each way. However, I always recommend people take the boat transfer from the airport. Why sit in a van when you can sip drinks on the deck and watch the beautiful shoreline drift by? And it’s about the same amount of time as the windy road.
And if you really want to go big, a quick helicopter transfer is available too!
6. Sandals Regency La Toc

Sandals Regency La Toc and Halcyon Beach are about the same price, but with 220 acres, a half-mile beach wrapping the whole cove, we rank Regency La Toc higher.
Stay at One, Play at Three gets you La Toc and Halcyon Beach for 28 restaurants across the island, which is the widest exchange Sandals offers. But this is a shuttle ride down the coast rather than a ten-minute hop like the Ocho Rios pair, so build it into a plan instead of assuming you will wander over.

The Rondoval Village opened in 2025, and it’s awesome and adds another great new option. The property is spread out with real hills in it, and the beach is noticeably smaller than Grande St. Lucian’s.
7. Sandals Grenada

Nestled in the heart of Pink Gin Beach, Sandals Grenada offers an exclusive romantic retreat. This resort features some of the most innovative and luxurious designs of all the Sandals. It truly fuses modern luxury with Grenada’s exotic tropical beauty.
The SkyPool Butler Suites hang their private pools off the side of the building, and the Molinere underwater sculpture park sits shallow enough to snorkel. The island itself is quiet, with far less going on off-property than Jamaica or Saint Lucia, and the property climbs a hill, so the beachfront Pink Gin building and the back of the resort both involve walking.
8. Sandals Ochi
Sandals Ochi is the cheapest Sandals. It’s big and it feels big with over 500 rooms. You also get 16 restaurants, more than any other Sandals by a wide margin, and a butler suite at $342 that undercuts what six resorts charge for a base room.
The Dunn’s River exchange runs one way, which people miss. Dunn’s River guests get a complimentary transfer over here. Ochi guests do not get one going back. The two properties are ten minutes apart either way, so the exchange still works, it just costs you something from this side.
It is the busiest Sandals in the group, split between a hillside garden section and a beach club below, with shuttling rather than walking between them. Guests who book without knowing that difference often land on the wrong side.
9. Sandals Saint Vincent

The newest of all the Sandals Resorts, Saint Vincent is packed with cutting edge designs and modern luxury. The Sandals 2.0 initiatives are evident from the moment you enter the resort.
Tucked into the coast of the Lesser Antilles, it boasts a private cove beach, rich rainforests, and serene river landscapes. The untouched surroundings make it an ideal location for nature lovers to explore the local Dark View Falls or climb to the peak of La Soufrière.
Sandals Saint Vincent is currently the newest resort and is very popular, so it’s at the top of the price range. If you have a healthy budget, this resort is always our top pick.
10. Sandals Halcyon Beach
The third Sandals Resort located on the stunning island of St. Lucia, Sandals Halcyon Beach stands out with its tranquil setting. Its lush gardens create an intimate feel, distinct from the larger resorts.
