Sandals Resorts In Jamaica
Jamaica is home to 7 Sandals Resorts, the most of any Caribbean island. The benefit to having so many Sandals Resorts located within Jamaica is you get access to all the amenities of neighboring Sandals with their exchange program.
The Jamaican all inclusive Sandals Resorts are based in four towns, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril, and Whitehouse. All of these are located on the eastern part of the island.
We love Jamaica for the pristine white sand beaches and glowing turquoise waters. But the rich culture offers so much more. Soak in the true Jamaican spirit with local reggae performances, jerk chicken, and rum cocktails at Floyd’s Pelican Bar.
When you’re not relaxing on the private beach, there’s nearly an unlimited amount of activities that await. Enjoy the included scuba diving, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. Or head out to the Dunn’s River Falls to see the multi-tiered falls, go hiking through Mystic Mountain, or gaze at the Ocho Rios Blue Hole.
For golf enthusiasts, the Sandals Golf Club is a short drive away with transfer and green fees included.
More importantly, Jamaica offers the most affordable Sandals Resorts out of all of them. With so many options, don’t be afraid to have our experienced travel planners get you the perfect itinerary!
How To Get To Sandals Jamaica
Jamaica has been a getaway hotspot for millions of tourists a year because it has so much to offer, and its close proximity to the United States and Canada. With over 2 dozen cities offering non-stop flights, the duration from Miami to Jamaica is only 90 minutes.
The most common airport for guests at Sandals Jamaica Resorts is the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. This airport is only a short 10 minute drive to the Montego Bay resorts, but over an hour drive to get to Sandals South Coast or Ocho Rios locations.
However, as of February 2024, Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ) is offering non-stop flights, which is only 30-minutes from the Ocho Rios locations.
Regardless of the Airport you choose, a roundtrip transfer to and from the resort is included.
Pro Tip: Get the Club Mobay pass when flying into the Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) so that you can get through customs quickly without waiting in the line. You also have access to their VIP lounge which is nice for your return flight. Passes are only $85 each, but availability is limited, so make sure to reserve it early.

Sandals Resorts In St. Lucia
Sandals has 3 resorts located in St. Lucia, all located on their own private white sand beach. What we especially love about this setup is you get access to all 3 Sandals Resorts when you stay at one. Transfers between the three locations are free and take about 20 minutes between them.
The three St. Lucian Sandals are located on the northwest tip of the island in the two towns of Gros Islet and Castries.
St. Lucia is our favorite Caribbean Island destination, especially for honeymoons, because of its sheer natural beauty. The towering Piton Mountains and lush botanicals are distinct from all the other islands.
For both nature lovers and beach bums alike, there is something for everyone. St. Lucia is home to some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean, or hit the rainforest for a hike and zipline experience.
We recommend covering all the bases with a catamaran cruise that takes you to the Piton Mountains, snorkel the reefs of Marigot Bay, and enjoy a natural mud bath at the volcanic hot springs.
Similar to Jamaica, golf lovers will get unlimited play at two Greg Norman-designed golf courses nearby.
How To Get To Sandals St. Lucia
Since St. Lucia is located in the west indies, takes approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes for direct flights from Miami.
The most common airport for guests staying at all the Sandals St. Lucia Resorts is the Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). Located on the southern tip of the island, the airport is approximately 1 hour from the Regency La Toc and Halcyon Beach locations, and about 1 hour and 40 minutes to the Grande St. Lucian.
You will be provided free car transfers to and from the airport.
Pro Tip: You can also reserve a helicopter transfer from the Airport that is $190 per person. It is a little pricey, but you save on time because it only takes about 15 minutes, and it offers amazing views of the island as you fly overhead. 🙂

Sandals Resorts In The Bahamas
Sandals has 1 all inclusive resort located in the Bahamas – the Royal Bahamian. Although there are no Sandals Resorts located in the United States, the Bahamas mark the closest option. Located just 40 minutes from the Florida coast, this is the quickest Sandals Resort to access from the United States and Canada.
Known for a blend of European luxury and exotic adventure, the Sandals Royal Bahamian has its own private island on the outskirts of Nassau.
Just a few clicks south lies the exclusive Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma. This resort closed for renovations in August 2024 and will reopen as a Beaches Resort (Sandals sister brand). This property is situated on a 500 acre nature reserve and mile long white sand beach.
The Bahamas are a wonderland of nearly 700 pristine white sand islands that create a surreal contrast against the glowing blue waters. The entire island country remains largely uninhabited which makes for great excursions.
A short boat ride from Nassua you can go to the Blue Lagoon and swim with the dolphins, and keep going a bit further to Harbour Island to see the one of a kind Pink Sand Beach.
Let’s not forget our personal favorite, the world famous swimming pigs of Exuma down in Big Major Cay.

Sandals Resorts In Barbados
Sandals has 2 resorts located in Barbados, both located along the south coast of the island in the St. Lawrence Gap area. What we especially love about the two neighboring resorts is you get access to both of them when you stay at one.
Both are all-inclusive and adults only, offering world class entertainment, dining, drinks, and water sports. These are also the only Sandals with its own bowling alley – AKA Lovers Lane!
A short drive from the resorts, our favorite beach was definitely Bottom Bay. There are white cliffs enclosing the white sand beach that makes for a postcard-like setting. For a stunning photo op, head to Animal Flower Cave along the north coast of the island (you can also get amazing fish tacos at the restaurant).
Lastly, Barbados is known as the birthplace of rum, and the locals won’t let you forget it. The St. Nicholas Abbey is a great place to soak in the island’s history and see a rum distillery from 1658 in action.
How To Get To Sandals Barbados
Barbados is the easternmost island of all the Caribbean Islands. Despite that, it is one of the quickest islands to get to with flights from Miami only 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The closest airport to the Sandals Barbados resorts is Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI), which is a 15 minute drive to the resorts.

Sandals Resorts In Antigua
Sandals has 1 resort in Antigua, located along the north coast of the island in St. John’s.
Consistently voted the most romantic resort in the world, Sandals Antigua offers all-inclusive dining, drinks, entertainment and water sports to your heart’s content.
It is uniquely designed for couples seeking an intimate getaway experience. Guests can choose between two distinct settings, a secluded Mediterranean village or a Caribbean beachfront village. The beachfront suites offer panoramic views of the azure ocean waters. While the Mediterranean Rondovals are secluded with their own private pool.
Although Antigua is home to over 365 white sand beaches, we think Dickenson Bay is hard to beat. The white sand melts through your toes and the sunsets are bright shades of red.
Just a short boat ride west of the resort you can find Prickly Pear Island. This has some of the best snorkeling in all of the Caribbean with crystal clear water for maximum visibility. When you are done, go and try fresh seafood and lobster salad at the restaurant.
For the more daring, you can head over to Stingray City to swim with the stingray. I did not jump in the water to swim with them, but seeing them in real life is wild to see!
The award winning Red Lane Spa offers amazing facials and massage treatments. Note that this is not included, but it is well worth it.
How To Get To Sandals Antigua
Antigua is part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. Since it is not as far south as its counterparts, Antigua is only a 3 hour flight from Miami.
The closest airport to Sandals Grande Antigua is V. C. Bird International Airport (ANU), which is only 20 minutes from the resort. As with all Sandals bookings, complimentary airport transfers are included.
For those wanting to visit Barbuda from Antigua, ferry services depart St. John’s Harbour. It takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Barbuda. The uninhabited island includes the world famous 17 Mile Beach and Frigate bird watching sanctuary.

Sandals Resorts In Grenada
Sandals has one resort in Grenada, located on the famous Pink Gin Beach. It positioned on the southwest tip of the island which is nice because it makes for calmer waters. There are several breakwaters that insulate the beach from large waves.
Sandals Grenada is unique in that is features some of the most modern design elements of all the Sandals resorts. The private sky pools attached to the premium suites are one of a kind. There is nothing like having your own infinity pool that overlooks the blue Caribbean waters and perfect sunsets.
The property also features 6 bars and 10 word class restaurants so you really never need to leave the property. It is, of course, all inclusive. On top of that, the water sports like snorkeling and scuba diving make for a great break from sun lounging on the beach.
If you want to go exploring, we highly recommend visiting the Grenada Underwater Sculpture Park. This is a one of a kind underwater museum with sculptures placed there to help recover the reef following Hurricane Ivan. It is only about 5 meters deep, so it is not a challenge to swim through.
How To Get To Sandals Grenada
Grenada is the southern most island of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. It is approximately a 3 hour and 40 minute flight from Miami, which is a little longer than the other Sandals locations.
That said, the Sandals Grenada property is located only 15 minutes away from the Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). Once you arrive, you will be met with a complimentary transfer to and from the airport.

Sandals Resorts In Curacao
Sandals has one resort located in Curaçao, situated right in the Leeward Antilles. The island itself is relatively small which makes for a more intimate feeling.
The difference between Curacao and the other Sandals locations, is this coastline is not made up of stretching white sand beaches. There is a mix of rock formations, which makes for a beautiful contrast against the beaches and turquoise waters.
The resort itself had a massive $55 million renovation just in 2022, so all the features are like new.
What we really like about Sandals Royal Curacao is the spacious seaside bungalows. They are nestled up right to the beach and have large private infinity pools overlooking the sea. There are also 13 bars and 11 restaurants, including 3 food trucks.
Just a few minutes walking from the resort there is a golf club with an 18 hole course. Note that this does cost extra, unlike the other Sandals resorts offering free greens fees.
How To Get To Sandals Curaçao
Despite Curaçao being one of the southern most resorts, its only a 3 hour flight from Miami.
The closest airport to Sandals Royal Curaçao is the Curaçao International Airport (CUR), which is a short 16 mile drive to the resort. You will receive a complimentary transfer to and from the airport with your stay.
The resort also has two functioning onsite marinas (Seru Boca Marina) if you choose to arrive by boat.

Sandals Resorts In St. Vincent
Sandals has one resort located in St. Vincent and The Grenadines. This is the newest of all the Sandals Resort that is just opened in March 2024.
Unlike some of the other Sandals resorts that have gotten significant renovations and are labelled “new”, the Sandals St. Vincent is truly a new development from the ground up.
The location is located in a private cove against a backdrop of lush rainforest. Since there 32 islands that make up St. Vincent and The Grenadines, going island hopping to see stunning white sand escapes is a must.
How To Get To Sandals St. Vincent
Since St. Vincent is part of the southeast Windward Islands, it is a little further than the other Sandals options. It is a 3 hour and 40 minute flight from Miami. Which is still not a bad commute all things considered.
