Beaches Resorts In Turks And Caicos

Beaches Resorts Location _ Turks And Caicos

The Beaches Turks And Caicos Resort is located in Providenciales, along the exclusive Grace Bay.  It’s the larger of the two Beaches Resorts with 5 different villages and 758 luxurious rooms.

This resort has one of my favorite beaches in the whole Caribbean. The glowing blue water is nice and warm. While the soft white sand gently declines into the sea so it’s easily accessible and excellent for children to play in.

When you’re not relaxing on the beach, there’s nearly an unlimited amount of activities to enjoy.  A big bonus for us is the massive 45,000 square foot water park that features slides of all sizes, a splash pad, and a lazy river!  That’s in addition to snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and much more.

Don’t be surprised if you see Sesame Street characters meander around the property either! But perhaps my favorite entertainment was the silent disco or the fire dancers on the beach. Every day has something new.

There are 26 different restaurants to choose from after working up an appetite. Each restaurants has a different theme so you can find something suitable for every craving.

With so many options, don’t hesitate to have our experienced travel advisors create the perfect itinerary for your family!

How To Get To Beaches Turks & Caicos

Turks And Caicos is made up of over 40 islands with some of the most serene beaches in the world.  It’s a short flight from the United States, which makes it ideal for family vacations.  For example, the flight from Miami to Providenciales International Airport (PLS) is only 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Once you clear customs, you will see a Beaches Lounge in the airport where you will wait to be picked up for your transfer. You will get a free transfer to the resort regardless of which room type you’re staying in.  The drive is only about 15 minutes to the resort from the airport.

Beaches Resorts In Jamaica

The only Beaches Resort in Jamaica is located in Negril.  This low key village on the west coast of the island perfectly embodies the Jamaican spirit.

Beaches Negril is quite a bit smaller than the Turks & Caicos location with 183 rooms.  For me this is nice because they offer a great contrast.  If you’re looking for a more intimate experience for your family, Negril is the better option.

They also just renovated all of the rooms a couple of years ago so the accommodations feel very modern and chic.  The new Firesky Reserve Butler Villas are incredible, with a private pool sanctuary and unmatched views of the coastline.

I absolutely love the famous 7 Mile Beach that the resort is situated on.  Here you can soak in the Caribbean sun under swaying palm trees, listen to reggae performances, and enjoy traditional jerk chicken.

The waterpark is fantastic as well. With multiple slides and a lazy river, it’s a challenge to pull the kids away from it!  Additionally, you can enjoy unlimited waterskiing, scuba diving, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

There are 13 restaurants to choose from, including Italian, Mexican, French, Caribbean, Asian, and more.  I became addicted the frozen yogurt bar, Yoyo’s, where you can add all the toppings you want!

Also note that adults can get full access to the neighboring Sandals Negril location.  This is the sister brand of Beaches, but it’s adults only.  You would just need to pay for the taxi to get over there, but it’s only about 5 minutes away.

How To Get To Beaches Jamaica

With many cities offering non-stop flights, vacations to Jamaica a very convenient. From Miami to Montego Bay the flight time is only about 90 minutes. Flights are also generally cheaper than the flights to Turks & Caicos.

The most common airport for guests at Beaches Negril is the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay.  From there you will take a complementary transfer to the resort which is approximately 90 minutes.

The transfer is a little longer, but we actually enjoyed it because it cruises along the picturesque coastline and you see a lot of beautiful scenery.

Pro Tip: I recommend getting the Club Mobay pass when flying into the Sangster International Airport.  This will ensure you clear customs quickly with a personal chaperone.  You also get access to the VIP lounge with food and drinks, which is especially nice for the return flight.
