    What Is The Military Discount At Sandals?

    The military discount at Sandals provides for a 10% discount on bookings for service members, first responders, and FEMA members.  Unlike other Sandals promotions, the military discount is available year round, has no blackout dates, and can be combined with all other current deals. It is also applicable at any Sandals resort location in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Barbados, the Bahamas, Antigua, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Curacao, and Turks and Caicos.

    Who Is Eligible For The Service Member Discount?

    There are several ways to take advantage of the service member discount at Sandals. It’s not just for active military personnel. To be eligible for this promotion, at least one person on the booking needs to be:

    • Military: Veterans of the United States or Canadian armed forces. This includes the U.S. National Guard, Reserves, and U.S. Department of Defense.  Additionally, all active-duty military personnel are eligible.
    • First Responders: Police officers and firefighters, whether active duty or retired, are eligible for this offer. Active duty Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Search and Rescue Members are also eligible.
    • FEMA: Active members of the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

    How To Apply For The Discount

    Here are the steps to follow to claim the military discount on your Sandals Booking:

    1. Make the Sandals booking of your choice and choose to pay the minimum deposit once you are at the payment page. Do not pay the full balance yet until the discount is applied.
    2. After your booking is made, create a Sandals Select Rewards Account or login to your existing account.
    3. On your account’s “Profile” page there is a section that says “Service Personnel Discount”. Complete the SheerID form to verify your eligibility for the discount. 
    4. After your status is verified, go to your account’s “Trips” page where you will see the reservation you just made. Choose “Apply For Military Discount” next to the outstanding balance for the reservation. It can take a few minutes for the balance to reflect the discount.
    5. Note that if your reservation is not showing up on the “Trips” page, click “Find A Reservation” and follow the steps to locate your booking.
    6. After your discount is successfully applied, you will be able to pay the remaining balance of the reservation on the given payment dates.

    Be sure to also bring your documentation to the resort or they may void the discount.  If you are making your booking within 60 days of the check-in date, please contact us to help manually apply the discount. Lastly, the offer can only be applied to one room per service personnel. So if you have a group booking, this discount can only be applied to your room.

    Is The Discount Combinable

    The great thing with the Sandals service personnel discount is that it is combinable with all other current promotions and does not have any blackout dates.  This means that you can combine the 10% discount on top of any last minute deals, 777 deals, instant booking credits, or seasonal sales so you get the biggest savings possible. The only exception to this is that it might not be applicable to a contracted group rate, these decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

    What's Is Included With Your Military Discount

    Nobody includes more than Sandals Resorts!  Every stay includes gourmet specialty restaurants, unlimited water activities, nightly entertainment, premium wine and spirits, unique themed bars, and luxurious suites.

    After all, there’s a good reason why Sandals is consistently rated the most romantic all-inclusive resort since its founding 40 years ago.  And as military or first responder personnel, nobody deserves a relaxing vacation with their loved one more than you!

    Let’s unpack everything that’s included:

    • Red Lane Spa: Pamper yourself at the Red Lane Spa with a variety of treatments in an utterly sublime setting. Aside from couples massages, they offer treatments like manicures, facials, body wraps, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, and plenty more.
    • No Tipping: Last but not least, there is no tipping allowed!  The one exception is if you choose to tip your butler, but even that is not required. I love this policy because once you book your vacation, you don’t need to stress about anything else.  You’re all set!

    • Travel Dates: The best times to travel to Sandals Resorts for cheap prices is outside of peak seasons between August to November. On the flip side, the busy season is between December to April.
    • Last Minute Travel: For those with flexibility you can take advantage of last minute gaps in occupancy to get great deals and a free night.
    • Online Booking Credit: Get instant credits of up to $1,300 off your booking simply for booking directly through us.
    • Room Categories: Different room levels can be eligible for different discounts. Entry level Luxury rooms will generally be the least expensive usually, while Club and Butler Suites can offer bigger discounts.
    • Seasonal Promotions: Seasonal deals like Black Friday, Winter Blue, Spring Savings can offer fantastic savings. There are frequent seasonal deals depending on when you are booking.
    • Sandals 7-7-7 Deal: The 7-7-7 deal offers an additional 7% off 7 select rooms when you stay for 7 nights. These are updated weekly on Wednesday and offer the best value!
    • Honeymoon Package: The free honeymoon package offers breakfast in bed, a welcome champagne toast, and special bed turndown service with flowers.  You must stay within 12 months of your wedding.
    • Free Anniversary Night: Get a free night when you book 7 or more nights in a Club or Butler level suite within 30 days of your wedding anniversary.

    Does Sandals offer a military discount?

    Yes, Sandals Resorts offer a military discount for active and retired military members, service personnel, police officers, and firefighters. The discount is for 10% off of any booking made at any Sandals location. It can also be stacked on top of other existing specials.

    Do I need to be active duty to get the discount?

    For military personnel, you can be a veteran or active duty to obtain the discount.  This is the same for police officers and firefighters, you can be active duty or retired. However, for EMTs or FEMA members, you need to be active service to qualify.

    Does Sandals have a discount for nurses, doctors, or teachers?

    Sandals Resorts did have a discount for a limited time in 2025 that included nurses, doctors, and teachers. This was an extension of their military discount offer (which has no expiration). To obtain the 10% off, you need to be a Licensed nurse, doctor, or teacher in the USA or Canada with valid credentials. Since this is for a limited time, I recommend contacting us to ensure we can still get you the discount.
