Best Beaches Resort: All Resorts Compared (2025)

One of the most common questions we get from families looking for an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation is what are the best Beaches® Resorts? We visited both of the Beaches locations in Turks & Caicos and Jamaica earlier this year to see how they compare!

Overall, my favorite Beaches Resort is Turks & Caicos because of the pristine white sand beach, the variety of fine dining options, and the newly renovated accommodations. That said, it depends on your budget, the occasion, and your preferred location.

As a Certified Specialist, we’re the recognized authority on Beaches Resorts. We incorporated our first-hand experience having been to each Beaches Resort several times, along with the feedback from over 3,500 families that we’ve planned a luxury Beaches vacations for, to help you find the perfect fit at the best price.

    Best Beaches Resort For 2025

    1. Beaches Turks & Caicos

    PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS AND CAICOS

    Cost Per Night/Per Person:

    $299 Per Night

    Number Of Rooms:

    758 Rooms

    Distance From Airport:

    5 Miles

    Number Of Restaurants:

    23 Restaurants

    Resort Mood:

    Social

    Number Of Pools:

    10 Pools

Widely considered the best all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean for families, Beaches Turks & Caicos offers more than any resort I have stayed at before. From the beautiful white sand beach on Grace Bay to the massive waterpark, there’s something for all ages!

The property is situated on a 93 acre estate that features 5 different “villages” to stay in. My personal favorite is the Italian Village because the rooms were just renovated earlier this year and it has a fantastic pool with a swim-up bar.

Note the Treasure Beach Village will open on March 1st, 2026, which will add 101 more suites, a lagoon style infinity pool, and a cinema lounge.

The rooms have several layouts that are perfect for families, couples, or groups. There are options ranging from entry level Luxury Rooms to lavish Butler Suites. For example, you can get suites that accommodate up to 12 people if needed.

There are also 26 different restaurants to choose from! I love the fact that you can still have a date night with your partner at one of the more formal restaurants that has a 12 or older age requirement for dinner like the Sky Restaurant, or you can have a family dinner with the kids at a variety of restaurants like Butches Chop House and Bobby Dee’s Diner.

When it comes time for entertainment, you will not be disappointed. The waterpark is 45,000 square feet of fun, and I definitely went down the slides a few times! Aside from that, there’s scuba diving, Sesame Street parades, pickleball, live shows, and so much more!

There’s even a night club called Club Liquid that’s for teens between 10:00 – 11:00 PM and then it switches to an adults only dance party from 11:00PM – 1:00 AM with a professional DJ and premium drinks.

Importantly, there are Kids Camps for all ages from 0 – 17 years old that are supervised by certified nannies. The day care operates from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, with some options open until 11:00 PM for teenagers.

Last but not least, I have to mention the beach here because it’s my favorite beach I have been to in the Caribbean. It is perfect white sand that stretches for 12 miles!  The glowing blue waters are nice and warm, making it ideal for activities.

The best part is it’s all inclusive! Right from the time your plane lands, you get a transfer to the resort. Then unlimited food, drinks, activities, and everything in between.  And no tipping is allowed!

"Another amazing vacation at Turks! The resort amenities, staff, and restaurants were 5 stars. The white sand beach is unbeatable. A special shoutout to Danial who was our scuba instructor, he was so patient with us! We'll be going back for a third time for sure!

What makes Beaches Turks & Caicos our favorite pick:

    • The ideal all-inclusive resort for families with kids of all ages.
    • A pristine 12 mile beach of fine white sand and azure waters.
    • Pick from 26 different restaurants with different themes from Teppanyaki to Surf & Turf.
    • Kids Camp for kids ranging from 0 – 17 with certified nannies.
    • Tons of activities like the waterpark, snorkeling, game lounge, scuba diving, paddleboarding, kayaking, tennis, and more.
    • There are 10 pools and 4 whirlpools, including one adult only pool and several swim-up bars.
    • 5 unique villages to stay in including Key West, Italian, French, Caribbean, Seaside, and Treasure Beach.
    • Live entertainment day and night that is tailored for the different age groups.
    • A lot of room categories to pick from so there’s something for all sizes and budgets.
    • Easily register for adventures like ATVs, catamaran cruises, or sight seeing right at the resort’s front desk.

Key considerations for Beaches Turks & Caicos:

    • The most common airport to fly is Providenciales International Airport (PLS) which is only a two hour flight from Miami.  From there, the free transfer to the resort takes about 20.
    • The least expensive rooms will generally be in the Caribbean Village.
    • Since this is a not an adult-only resort, you can check out Beaches sister company, Sandals Resorts, if you want an adults-only option.
    • December to April is the high season, which will have slightly higher prices but more consistently sunny weather. The low season is July to October, which will have the lowest prices but also more potential precipitation.
    • Make sure to book any excursions as far in advance as possible to ensure there is availability.
    • You can make dinner reservations and special dietary requests with the concierge at check-in. Note that you need to make special dietary requests at least 1-month in advance for things like kosher meals or other off menu items.
    • If you have children under 5, you can get a $135 resort credit if you present a newly issued passport at check-in on bookings of 5 nights or more.  You just need to register your booking after making it.
    • The currency used is still US Dollar and the electricity is 120 volts with 60 hertz, so it is all the same as the US.

    2. Beaches Negril

    NEGRIL, JAMAICA

    Cost Per Night/Per Person:

    $284 Per Night

    Number Of Rooms:

    186 Rooms

    Distance From Airport:

    43 Miles

    Number Of Restaurants:

    13 Restaurants

    Resort Mood:

    Social

    Number Of Pools:

    3 Pools

This was our second time to Beaches Negril.  The first time was in 2020 and we loved it, but now the resort has completed major renovations throughout all the rooms, and also added two new Butler Villa offerings.

The Firesky Reserve Villas are set right on the beach with stunning views and a private pool sanctuary.  It spans three floors with four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people. The Eventide Penthouse features a massive rooftop terrace that overlooks the beachfront. With four bedrooms and a sofa sleeper, it can accommodate up to 16 people.  Both are absolutely incredible.

Aside from the modernized accommodations, there’s always entertainment for adults and children of all ages.  The Pirates Island Waterpark is sure to keep the kids busy for hours. I personally enjoyed marinating in the lazy river with a tropical cocktail in hand. Sesame Street characters are also making the rounds, so you’re guaranteed to get a selfie with Elmo and friends.

Don’t forget that there is also golf available at this location.  You get free transfers to the course and free greens fees.  The only thing you would have to pay for is the golf cart rental if you want one.

All of the activities are sure to work up an appetite!  Good thing there are 13 restaurants to choose from, including French, Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, seafood, frozen yogurt, and more.  My personal go-to is the Jerk Shack for some jerk chicken and a Red Stripe.

Similar to Turks & Caicos, Beaches Negril also has a Club Liquid that is for teens between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, and then turns into an adults only party until 1:00 AM.

The new Kids Club offers different age groups activities, places to hang out, and a 2-story play gym, all supervised by certified nannies.

It’s important to note that the resort is located on the famous 7 Mile Beach in Negril. It is, in my opinion, the best beach in Jamaica.  The soft white sand melts between your toes as you walk and the beach is nice and clean for swimming, which makes it perfect for kids to splash around in.

    Why we love Beaches Negril:

    • The renovated suites and bathrooms designed for families and couples alike make the resort feel new.
    • Modern villas that can accommodate up to 16 people with a private pool.
    • All-inclusive and no tipping policy means you don’t spend anything after booking your stay.
    • Unlimited water and land sports included, like scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, tennis, pickleball, and a lot more!
    • Golf greens fees and transfers are included at this location.
    • There are no age requirements for any of the restaurants and only 2 of them require reservations (Stella and Yaku).
    • Brand new Kids Club with tons of options to keep the kids busy, with certified nannies to supervise.
    • -Three pools and three whirlpools, including the Pirates Island Waterpark, Lazy River, and swim-up bars.
    • Nightly shows that have entertainment for all ages, from fire dancers to Sesame Street dance parties.
    • Amazing location on the famous 7 Mile Beach, with pristine white sand and glowing blue waters. Negril is located on the northwest coast of Jamaica so the water is very calm.

    Key considerations for Beaches Negril:

    • You will fly into the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) which is only a 1 hour and 45 minute flight from Miami.  From there, the free transfer to the Negril resort takes just over an hour.
    • Beaches Negril only has 186 rooms, so it is much smaller than Turks & Caicos, which has 758 rooms.  If you want a more lowkey experience, Negril is better.
    • For restaurants that require reservations, make the reservation as early as possible (especially for holidays or the busy season), but most times you can make it the same day and be okay.
    • The currency used is officially the Jamaican Dollar, but the US Dollar is widely accepted along with credit cards.
    • The electricity is 110 volts with 50 hertz, and you can use standard US plugins in Jamaica.

Tips And Tricks To Save On Your Beaches Resort Stay

Both Beaches Resorts will have similarly priced options.  It really depends on the type of room you get and the time of year.  Here are my favorite tips so you can get your dream vacation at Beaches without overspending.

    • New Passport Discount: Children under 5 can get a $135 resort credit each if you recently got a passport for them. Register your booking and present the passport at check-in on bookings of 5 nights or longer.
    • Beaches 7-7-7 Deals: Get an additional 7% off 7 select rooms when you stay for 7 nights.  These rooms are updated every week on Wednesday and offer amazing value!
    • Last Minute Travel: If you are flexible, you you can fill last minute gaps in occupancy, and snag a free night. This requires making your booking about 3 weeks or sooner to the checkin date.
    • Travel Dates: For the best Beaches Resort deals, travel outside of peak seasons.  Low season is generally July to October, while the busy season is between December to April.
    • Military Discount: Beaches always gives a 10% military discount to all service personnel, veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders.
    • Seasonal Deals: Deals like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and others fluctuate throughout the year and you can likely combine these seasonal sales with other deals to get big savings.
    • Room Categories:  There are three categories. Luxury Level rooms are the entry level rooms and will be the least expensive. Concierge Level is in the middle, while Butler Level is the most expensive.
    • Anniversary Deal: You get a free night when you stay for 7 nights or more in a Concierge or Butler level suite as long as its within 30 days of your wedding anniversary date.

The entry level room at Turks & Caicos starts at $299 per adult per night, while Negril starts at $284 per adult per night (adults are considered 16 and over).  Children will cost between $38 – $61 per night, and infants below 2 years old are free.  Prices will go up from there as you get higher tier room categories.  Lastly, flights to Turks And Caicos can be more expensive than to Montego Bay, so it’s best to start monitoring flights as early as possible!

A lot of our clients are not aware most of these deals exist!  Feel free to contact us to make sure you get the absolute best deal for your vacation.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Are Beaches Resorts and Sandals Resorts the same company?

Yes, Beaches Resorts and Sandals Resorts are both owned by the same company.  They are both all-inclusive resort brands based in the Caribbean, but the biggest difference is that Sandals is adults-only, while Beaches is more oriented toward families and groups.

Is Beaches opening a new resort?

Beaches will be opening several new resorts in the near future.  The most anticipated opening is the Exuma, Bahamas resort that is slated to open in 2027.  Here you will have a 500 acre paradise where you can relax on the white sand beaches and even swim with the pigs!  Beyond 2027, there will likely be new Beaches opened in Barbados and Saint Vincent.

What happened to Beaches Ocho Rios in Jamaica?

Beaches in Ocho Rios Jamaica was the only resort property that was not actually owned by Beaches Resorts. The owner of the location decided to close the resort in May of 2025 for renovations and re-brand it once complete.  For those looking at Jamaica all-inclusive options, I recommend looking at the Beaches Negril location which has an absolutely stunning location on 7 Mile Beach on the west coast of Jamaica.

Is Beaches Negril or Beaches Turks & Caicos better?

If you are looking for a more social vibe with a lot of options for restaurants, activities, and room categories, Turks & Caicos is better.  If you want a more laid back experience, Beaches Negril is smaller and embodies the relaxed Jamaican atmosphere. Both resorts can have similar price points depending on what type of room your are looking for, but Turks & Caicos will skew a little bit more expensive overall.

Can you do destination weddings at Beaches Resorts?

Yes, you can absolutely have weddings at all Beaches Resort locations.  In fact, they specialize in destination weddings of all sizes – from elopements to grand weddings with 100 guests.  The wedding package prices will vary depending on the number of guests you plan to invite and the type of decor you prefer.
