I’m always on the lookout for a great deal, especially when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. Sandals Regency La Toc is my go-to option in St. Lucia for travelers on a budget. Despite the super affordable price, they have unmatched inclusions that make overall value hard to beat!
The idea is to create a completely stress-free vacation. You get airport transfers, unlimited food and drinks, water activities, scuba diving, golf greens fees, and plenty more. There’s even a no tipping policy. The staff took amazing care of us and knew us by name after the first day.
Regency La Toc is situated on a private cove beach surrounded by beautiful bluffs. Seating around the beach and pool is plentiful so we never had an issue finding a spot to relax. Sunsets here are also fantastic, especially up at Armando’s restaurant by the sunset bluff pool.
We especially appreciated that you get full access to the other two Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia with free transfers. This means that you can choose from 27 different restaurants. We took a day trip to the Grande St. Lucian (about a 35 minute drive) which was a fun change of pace.
Overall the Regency La Toc is one of our top rated resorts in St. Lucia. My wife and I have been there two times now, and the guests we send there always rave about it. In fact, it’s one of the resorts we work with with the highest number of repeat visitors!
Who It’s Best For:
Sandals are hands down the best resorts for couples on a romantic getaway. The Regency La Toc provides an idyllic St. Lucian setting without breaking the bank. There’s so much included that the value here is unmatched.

If you’re dreaming of a luxurious experience with 5-star service and amenities, look no further than Sandals Grande St. Lucian. The resort sits on a private peninsula toward the north end of the island. You look out and see the entire Rodney Bay with beautiful mountains in the distance. It’s easily one of the most serene settings we have been to in the Caribbean.
We were fortunate enough to stay in the overwater bungalows because availability for them is very scarce. Importantly, the Grande St. Lucian is the only resort in St. Lucia that offers Overwater Bungalows. That said, there are incredible rooms available at all price points!
They do a great job creating intimate spaces, but at the same time, there are so many fun activities like motorized watersports, paddleboarding, and beach volleyball if you want to be more active.
It’s my favorite beach for long walks because it stretches for nearly three miles. The sand is very soft here which is kind of rare in St. Lucia. A lot of times they will have small pebbles and rocks.
Overall food quality also stands out, especially for an all-inclusive resort. We tried a new restaurant almost every night. A few of them do require reservations (Kimonos, Bombay, and Gordon’s). You can do that once you’re there, or on the mobile app in advance.
The cherry on top is having access to the other two Sandals Resorts on St. Lucia so it’s like three vacations in one. This gives you an incredible number of restaurants, pools, and beaches to work with.
Who It’s Best For:
Sandals Grande St. Lucian is ideal for adults who want a 5-star luxury resort with modern accommodations in an postcard perfect Caribbean location.
3. Jade Mountain
SOUFRIERE, SAINT LUCIA

Jade Mountain is second to none when it comes to exclusivity. This architectural treasure is visited by celebrities quite frequently because of its privacy and incredible location.
We spent 5 nights here last earlier this year – thankfully they had a promotion to get the 5th night free so it was a little more affordable. Like a lot of sought after resorts, I wondered if it would be worth the hype. I can now assure you that it absolutely was!
The vistas from the suites and rooftops are million dollar views just by themselves. You will not find a better vantage point for the Piton Mountains than here. The fact that you can wake up to that every morning is something you have to see to believe.
The resort has 24 different suites called “sanctuaries”. All of them have completely open air designs with no fourth wall. Each sanctuary also has a private infinity pool (except the Sky Suites). There is no shared pool except for the one in the restaurant which is more for ambiance.
Fortunately there are not too many insects, however, you can hear a little noise around the resort and it can get a little warm without AC. The four posts beds are draped with netting to protect you at night.
There’s only one restaurant, the Jade Mountain Club which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dishes are prepared by James Beard Award winning Chef Alan, which are incredible. You also have access to their sister resort Anse Chastanet just next door with several more restaurants, bars, and beaches to choose from.
Who It’s Best For:
Jade Mountain is the place to be for those that want the ultimate in exclusivity and luxury. The location overlooking the Piton Mountains from the open air sanctuaries is an experience like no other in St. Lucia.
4. Sandals Halcyon Beach
CASTRIES, SAINT LUCIA
Cost Per Night/Per Person:
$250 Per Night
Number Of Rooms:
169 Rooms
Distance From Airport:
35 Miles
Number Of Restaurants:
7 Restaurants
Resort Vibe:
Relaxing
Number Of Bars:

Sandals Halcyon Beach has a very laid back vibe that makes relaxation easy. It only has 169 rooms in total and the unique low-rise building layout seamlessly blends in with the natural surroundings.
Tropical gardens filled with palm trees and colorful flowers create an authentic feel that’s frequently lost at the larger resorts. The private cove beach with calm, crystal clear waters is perfect for swimming and water sports. It truly feels like your personal slice of Caribbean paradise.
My favorite room here is the new Halcyon Shore House Butler Suite with a private pool. It’s right on the beach and has 24 hour dedicated butler service. We loved being able to have our own sanctuary with a huge patio. Our butler Sheldon even created a candle light dinner for us one night.
I also highly recommend going to the overwater restaurant, Kelly’s Dockside, for sunset around 6 PM. Be sure to make reservations in advance because it’s so popular.
Lastly, you get to enjoy all the amenities at the two neighboring Sandals plus free greens fees at the Cap Estate Country Club.
Who It’s Best For:
Sandals Halcyon Beach has a more laid back vibe that’s perfect for intimate and romantic occasions. Although it’s a Sandals Resort, it doesn’t feel too commercialized like a lot of other large all-inclusive brands. It is also one of the least expensive options while still having 5-star service.
5. Royalton Hideaway
GROS-ISLET, SAINT LUCIA
Cost Per Night/Per Room:
$675 Per Night
Number Of Rooms:
166 Rooms
Distance From Airport:
45 Miles
Number Of Restaurants:
9 Restaurants
Resort Vibe:

Number Of Bars:

The Royalton Hideaway is actually a subsection of the larger Royalton resort. There are three buildings with 166 rooms that are an adults only area (as shown in the picture above).
The rooms are spacious with private balconies. We stayed in one of the swim out suites which was a Diamond Club room. The Diamond Club includes some added perks like dedicated butler service, a private pool, a private beach, and a club lounge. We liked it, but I don’t necessarily appreciate having to pay extra for pool and beach access.
I will say that the Hideaway area is nice and quiet. The main infinity pool features a swim-up bar and has a great view out into the Caribbean. A pristine beach section was well attended by the staff to quickly get anything you need. It’s not the biggest beach but it’s good for lounging.
There are 9 restaurants that are adults only, but you get full access to the rest of the Royalton Resort which has 8 additional restaurants – so plenty of variety. Tipping is technically included, but it was generally still expected here unlike some of the other all-inclusives that prohibited tipping.
It also seemed like there were more groups of friends and family here as opposed to strictly couples. There are plenty of couples, but I think the rooms and pricing lends itself to a broader 18+ crowd. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of.
Finally, this is part of the Marriott family so you can use Bonvoy points if you have any stashed away like we did.
Who It’s Best For:
The Royalton Hideaway is great for adults that want nice VIP perks, especially if you go with a Diamond Club room. It’s ideal for groups or solo travelers that are not specifically traveling as a couple.
6. Ti Kaye Resort & Spa
ANSE LA RAYE, SAINT LUCIA
Cost Per Night/Per Room:
$515 Per Night
Number Of Rooms:
33 Cabins
Distance From Airport:
40 Miles
Number Of Restaurants:

Resort Vibe:
Intimate
Number Of Bars:

Positioned along the untouched west coast of Saint Lucia in the bay of Anse Cochon lies a hidden gem of the island, Ti Kaye Resort & Spa. If it weren’t for the provided airport transfer, the entrance would have been hard to spot.
The 15 acre property features 33 private cabins sprawled along the hillside. Each one has fantastic views of the Caribbean below. A few even have their own private plunge pools.
What I especially love about the accommodations is they are so authentic. The rustic wooden shutters, patio hammock, and outdoor showers make you feel connected to the surroundings. An off-grid design intentionally makes you unplug and slow down (there is AC though).
Down at the private beach there’s a dive shop with other options like paddle boarding and kayaking. The snorkeling right off the shore is fantastic. Tons of colorful reef and tropical fish. The only drawback is that there are a lot of stairs to get to the beach.
When it comes to food, there are two restaurants to choose from. During the day we mainly hung out at the beach bar where they have salads, surprisingly good wood fired pizza, and tasty signature cocktails.
Dinner is where they really shine. They heavily rely on fresh caught seafood and locally sourced ingredients from the island to create traditional Creole dishes. That’s why the menu changes every week. Don’t forget the wine cellar that has over 500 bottles of wine to pair with your meal!
Who It’s Best For:
Ti Kaye Resort is perfect for adults that love authentic, off the grid, Caribbean living. It’s a well kept secret that’s one of the best resorts to unplug and leave any stress behind.
7. Rabot Hotel From Hotel Chocolat
SOUFRIERE, SAINT LUCIA
Cost Per Night/Per Room:
$940 Per Night
Number Of Rooms:
25 Rooms
Distance From Airport:
45 Miles
Number Of Restaurants:

Resort Vibe:

Immerse yourself in the heart of the rainforest at the Rabot Hotel, a 140 acre cacao estate. The resort is a short 45 drive from the Hewanorra International Airport.
There are 25 lodges spread around the property. You can get the standard Lodge or the Luxe Lodge. I highly recommend the Luxe Lodge so you get the best views of the Pitons.
Each lodge is equipped with four post beds with netting draped down, a huge rainforest style shower, and the best homemade chocolate cookies I’ve ever had. There’s not an air conditioner, but the ceiling fan helps a bit – it can get a little hot at night though.
The food here is truly incredible. They infuse cacao from their local plantation in ways you can’t imagine. From fresh fish tuna to slow roasted jerk pork, I can’t speak highly enough about it. You also enjoy the unbeatable views of the Pitons during your meal.
Absolutely do not miss the Tree to Bar chocolate experience which is included with the all-inclusive package. You also tour the chocolate farm and hear the history of the plantation – so cool!
The main lounge has the legendary black quartz pool that acts as a mirror with the Piton Mountains perfectly reflecting in the water. Although there is no direct access to a beach, the hotel does have shuttles to a few different beaches like Sugar Beach or Malgretoute Beach (they’re about 15 minutes away).
Who It’s Best For:
The Rabot Hotel is best for people that emphasize amazing views, incredible nature, and a more active experience. The onsite cacoa estate has trails you can walk around for hours and even make your own chocolate bar straight from the tree.
Key Considerations When Choosing
Not every all-inclusive is created the same. Although we meticulously hand selected our top resorts, there are still differences to be aware of when selecting the best one for your preferences. Here are some things to consider:
- What’s actually included: Some resorts will include absolutely everything from airport transfers to scuba diving and golf. Make sure to check what the all-inclusive packages actually include so you don’t have surprises. Things like tipping, extra charges for top-shelf drinks, activities and excursions – these can all add up to hundreds if not thousands of dollars by the time your done.
- Travel Time: Confirm both the flight time to the destination’s airport, and the transfer time from the airport to the resort. If you are on a tighter schedule, it might be beneficial to stay at a resort with shorter transportation times. Also note that you can get helicopter transfers in St. Lucia from the airport to the resorts. Depending on the specific resort, it usually costs about $400 per couple.
- Accomidations: You’ll notice that some of the options are more adventurous with have an open air room layout (with no AC), and some are very modern with 5-star service. Choose a room that aligns with your expectations so you don’t end up getting disappointed by your accomidations.
- The Vibe: Do you prefer a more social or laid back vibe? St. Lucia is split into two parts – more nature in the south and more beaches with developed resorts in the north. Depending on the occasion and your preferences, one may be more appropriate. The individual resorts also have a sprit of their own that we try our best to describe in our reviews. See which style fits best with what your’e looking for.
- Pricing & Deals: Most resorts will have seasonal sales or discounts on specific rooms for a certain number of nights. For example, the weekly 777 Deal from Sandals, or military discounts. Also, traveling during low season between April and November is an easy way to save. Feel free to message me if you wan’t to ensure the best possible price!
