The Sundowner Swim‑Up Butler Suite at Sandals Negril is all about laidback beachfront living. I love this suite because you have the Crystal Lagoon pool that butts right up to the beach, and you get a perfect view of the Caribbean. You can relax on your private patio and dive in from your doorstep. Not only that, but you you’re on the famous Seven Mile Beach with pristine white sand and glowing waters. Inside, you’ll find an elegant living area and bathroom with a whirlpool bath and walk-in shower. The patio is also perfect for soaking in the bright orange sunsets that are beautiful off the west coast of Jamaica. Our personal butler Sheldon was also phenomenal.

WALKOUT SWIM-UP CRYSTAL LAGOON HONEYMOON BUTLER SUITE
From white sand beaches to a private offshore island, the Royal Caribbean is one of my favorites. The Walkout Swim-Up Honeymoon Suite doesn’t specifically have the zero entry pool access like a lot of the other swim-up suites. This room has a patio with private walk-out access directly to the Crystal Lagoon pool. On the plus side, it’s the least expensive swim-up suite option of all the Sandals options. The room is still a Butler Level suite so you get a dedicated butler to take care of anything you need. That’s why I really like this room for the value. Don’t forget you also get full access to the neighboring Sandals Montego Bay too!

RONDOVAL SWIM-UP BUTLER VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL SANCTUARY
The Rondoval Suites at South Coast are the ultimate in luxury and privacy. They were recently completed with the massive Crystal Lagoon Pool that’s connected to your private pool sanctuary at your villa. The circular design and 20 ft tall thatched roof create a romantic vibe, while the oversized king bed and open living space make for max relaxation. I step straight from my patio into the swim up pool, or unwind in the Tranquility soaking tub and outdoor shower on the patio. The Butler Service was perfect with thoughtful touches and speedy service. Note that there are also Rondoval Suites at other locations in Jamaica, St. Lucia, and several more. I love the villa design and would highly recommend it for special occasions.

SWIM UP LOVER’S LAGOON HONEYMOON CLUB LEVEL
The Swim Up Suite at Sandals Grande St. Lucian is nice because it provides plenty of privacy while still having your personal pool access right from your patio. The lovers lagoon pool is fairly peaceful compared to the main pool which makes it a nice escape. Inside, the suite has a classic St. Lucian feel with a plush king bed, comfortable living area with big sliding glass doors that open to the outside. Since this is not a Butler Level room, you can still enjoying Club Sandals service that makes everything seamless. The upside is that this swim up suite is also more affordable than most of the other options. The beach here is set in the beauty of Rodney Bay with pristine sand and 360 views of the lush green mountainside.

BEACHFRONT CRYSTAL LAGOON SWIM UP BUTLER ROOM TRANQUILITY SOAKING TUB
I love the Swim Up Suite at Halcyon Beach because it is literally right on the beach, but you still have a buffer with the tropical gardens to keep the are more secluded. You can relax in the loungers on your patio while taking in the beautiful Caribbean Sea views. The entire patio is rather big and also has a tranquility soaking tub for two. The sliding doors open to a spacious interior equipped with a king bed, smart TV, and seating area. We really enjoyed the bathroom that had yet another soaking tub and a double vanity with backlit mirrors. But my personal favorite is the 24 hour butler service, you get the ultimate romantic retreat without a stress in the world. Overall, Sandals Halcyon Beach has a one of the most laid back vibes out of all the resorts in St. Lucia.

Sandals Royal Barbados is the ultimate in luxury. This all-suite resort is ideal for romantic occasions, and has six different Swim Up suite categories to choose from. One of my favorites is the South Seas Swim Up Butler Suite because it is still a Butler Level room but at a more affordable price. There are also 2 Club Level rooms that are about the same price too. The spacious patio here has a seating area, tranquility soaking tub, and two loungers. The Crystal Lagoon pool is very peaceful so it’s perfect for relaxing. Inside, the suite is modern, with an oversized king bed, living area, and elegant bathroom. The butler service was perfectly attentive like always, but not intrusive. Add in the premium wine and spirits, and we can safely say we enjoyed our 5 night stay in this suite earlier this year. Don’t forget you also get full access to the neighboring Sandals Barbados Resort just next door.

CRYSTAL LAGOON SWIM UP CLUB LEVEL LUXURY ROOM WITH TRANQUILITY SOAKING TUB
Sandals Barbados is located on the famous Dover Beach, which is perhaps the best beach in all of Barbados. The resort has two swim-up suite options, one is in Butler Level, the other is in Club Level. Both are very similar, except the butler level suite has a separate bedroom and a larger bathroom with another soaking tub. I love how the suites at this location are more modern and updated than some of the other locations. The patio is very spacious with pool loungers and a tranquility soaking tub to relax in. It’s secluded enough and their are also the privacy curtains you can pull back to shield your entire patio. Perhaps the best part is getting full access to the Royal Barbados Resort next door – it makes Sandals Barbados an excellent value!

ITALIAN SWIM UP BI-LEVEL BUTLER SUITE WITH TRANQUILITY SOAKING TUB
Situated in the stunning Italian Village, the Italian Swim Up Suite perfectly combines European elegance with the Caribbean spirit. The patio boasts a zero entry pool access with two loungers, a dining set, and a tranquility soaking tub. The living area is cool because it steps down from the attached bedroom area, making it feel more spacious. It features a full sofa, chairs, and a fully stocked bar with premium drinks. In the bathroom is another large soaking tub for two that is a great touch. We found this suite to be a perfect retreat in the heart of Grenada. Located on the famous Pink Gin Beach makes it absolutely idyllic. If you’re looking for a more intimate environment on an exotic Caribbean island, this is a fantastic option.

EAST BAY BEACHFRONT SWIM UP BUTLER SUITE
The Royal Bahamian is one of my favorites because the Bahamas are so close to the US, and the resort is not far from the airport either. You can be on the beach within an hour! The EastBay Swim Up Suite has a beautiful open-air balcony that’s perfect for siting back in the loungers and soaking in the Caribbean views. This suite has 24 hour butler service which makes it that much better! That said, there are several swim-up rooms to choose from in both Club and Butler Level at the Royal Bahamian. I generally prefer to stay in the East Bay Building, but the West Bay has fantastic accommodations as well. You need to check out the private offshore island with immaculate white sand beaches when you stay here. It’s easy to spend an entire day out there!

Also note that there are suites that have private pools, which are different than a swim-up suite. These include accommodations like the Skypool Suites, Overwater Bungalows, Rondoval Suites, and other Private Butler Villas. A swim-up room will generally be attached to a pool that will have multiple access points to different rooms. This allows you to access the pool directly from your patio.
