Opened in March 2024, Sandals Saint Vincent is the newest Sandals Resort. Importantly, this location is brand-new as apposed to being renovated, and it’s guided by the new Sandals 2.0 initiative which emphasizes modern architecture, innovative accommodations, and improved gastronomy and wellness.
Located north of Barbados and south of St. Lucia, St. Vincent is a jet setters paradise. The resort has a beautiful crescent shaped white sand beach exclusively for resort guests. But what is very unique about the island is the stunning rainforests, untouched cays, and black sand beaches that are perfect for adventures.
I also love the suites here that feature details I haven’t seen at other resorts. For example, the Overwater Bungalows are two stories tall and perched off to the side of the private cove beach with unbeatable views of the Caribbean. The Beachfront Butler Villas are also fantastic, with a private pool sanctuary just steps from the beach. Some of the suites even include a personal fitness studio with an exercise bike, dumbbells, and personalized programs.
Sandals Saint Vincent is definitely one of my favorite all-inclusive resorts now. With unlimited dining at 12 restaurants, 5 bars including 2 swim up bars, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and so much more, it’s hard to beat! The only downside is that it is one of the more expensive Sandals because everything is so high end, but it was worth it considering everything that’s included.
What we love about Sandals St. Vincent:
- The resort is brand new so all the accommodations and details are modern and chic.
- Located on a private cove beach that is just for resort guests so it’s very peaceful.
- The overwater wedding chapel is an unbeatable destination wedding venue.
- I recommend the Tobago Cays boat tour to see the uninhabited beaches and glowing blue waters. Absolutely incredible.
- You get a free boat transfer into the resort from the airport if you book a Butler Level room. This cuts the transfer time, but it’s also a cool experience to see the island’s coastline. All other rooms have free car transfers.
- Unlimited water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, and paddle boarding.
- Choose from 12 different restaurants and 9 bars. Each restaurant is a different theme with world class cuisine. The Parisol Beach Club is one of my favorite places to hangout here.
- There are 4 pools, including an enormous pool at the center of the resort and an infinity pool right on the beach.
- Land sports like tennis, pickleball, volleyball, and more. They even have free professional tennis lessons and a 24 hour gym.
- Top notch entertainment every night keeps the excitement going long after sunset.
- The adults-only policy means you can enjoy your vacation in a stress-free environment.

260 Rooms

12 Restaurants

Sandals Dunn’s River opened in May 2023 as the newest Sandals Resort in Jamaica. I love this location because it truly infuses the Jamaican spirit at each corner. Every restaurant is brand new, designed to be authentic in a sophisticated way. Every cup of coffee is made with local Blue Mountain Coffee. Cocktails are crafted with rum sourced from estates all over the country.
Right when you enter the lobby you’re greeted with a beautiful open air design and water falls that set the tone for what’s to come.
With 260 rooms, there is something for all budgets. One-of-a-kind swim-up Rondoval Villas with rooftop terraces are sure to create unforgettable memories. I highly recommend the Celestial Butler Package for those who book the Rondovals to gaze at the constellations with a telescope and enjoy a private dinner under the stars with a personalized guide.
The longest pool in Jamaica connects most of the resort. It’s filled with mineral water from Dunn’s River Falls that flows down from the mountains above. A pristine white sand beach stretches for miles with crystal clear Caribbean waters as far as the eye can see.
Best of all, there are endless things to do at Sandals Dunn’s River. Unlimited drinks, dining, water activities, entertainment, spa treatments, and free golf. You even get full access to the neighboring Sandals Ochi so it’s like 2 vacations in one!
What we love about Sandals Dunn's River:
- The Stay At 1 Play At 2 program allows full access to Sandals Ochi so you get 29 restaurants and all of the amenities there too.
- A private white sand beach so it is only guests from the resort allowed with plenty of seating availability.
- Free golf greens fees are included at the Upton Estate Golf & Country Club.
- Innovative accommodations like the Coyaba Sky Rondoval Villas and the Skypool Butler Suites.
- Free transfers to and from the airport no matter which room level you choose.
- Amazing treatments at the Red Lane Spa like couples massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, and body scrubs.

Sandals Royal Curacao was opened in June 2022 within a 44 acre beachfront nature reserve. Located in the Southern Caribbean sea, it’s nestled along Spanish Water Bay, a picturesque natural lagoon with glowing blue water.
This resort is the epitome of luxury. For starters, the enormous two-tiered infinity pool is unlike anything I have every seen. The villas are also absolutely stunning. My favorite is the Seaside Butler Bungalows that have their own glass-edge infinity pool mere feet from the shoreline. Additionally, the Kurason Island Suites are attached to a heart shaped pool with direct swim-up access. You can’t go wrong with either!
When it comes to adventure, the Dutch colonial architecture in the capital of Willemstad are a must see. You even get a free Mini Cooper to tour around if you book a Butler Level room.
Gastronomy is taken to another level at the Royal Curacao. There are 11 world class restaurants to choose from with offerings from all corners of the globe. Vincent was my favorite restaurant, which features traditional Dutch plates done right. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the famous blue Curacao drink that is so refreshing under the hot sun.
What we love about Sandals Royal Curacao:
- Extremely unique landscape where Listerine blue waters and white sand beaches meet rugged rock formations and cactus spotted landscapes.
- Rich cultural history with the UNESCO World Heritage site of Willemstad that has colorful Dutch buildings and fantastic food.
- Connected to the Pete Dye designed Old Quarry 18 Hole championship golf course. You can even get married on the course right along the coastline.
- The only Sandals Resort where you can go and see flamingos (which you should definitely do)!
- Suites like the Seaside Butler Villa, Kurason Island Suites, and the Rondoval Butler Villas that can only be found at this resort.
- Complementary airport transfers no matter which room you book.
- Unlimited snorkeling and scuba diving.
- The 2-level infinity pool is one-of-a-kind and offers endless views of the Spanish Water.

Sandals Royal Bahamian was opened in 2022 as the newest Sandals in the Bahamas. The other Sandals location in Exuma, Bahamas is currently undergoing renovations and will reopen as a Beaches Resort in 2027.
Known for it’s luxury, there’s a lot to love about this location. First, it has its own private offshore island. You take a short boat transfer out to the island where there is a spa, beach club, multiple white sand beaches, and restaurant. We loved renting a private cabana with butler service for the day and just soaking in the Caribbean vibes.
Additionally, the Royal Bahamian is the easiest Sandals to get to with flights that are just 50 minutes from Miami, and the resort is only 10 minutes from the airport. This means you get maximum fun in the sun, which is especially nice for those on a tight schedule.
We stayed in one of the new swim-up suites in the West Bay Village. The direct access to the Crystal Lagoon pool is amazing and the views out the azure water was unbelievable. It’s worth noting that the sand here on Cable Beach is extremely soft. When I imagine an idyllic Caribbean setting, this is it.
What we love about Sandals Royal Bahamian:
- The two main pools are very large with swim-up bars in both. They are right up on the beach so you can enjoy the fabulous views as you relax.
- There are 10 restaurants each offering unique cuisine. There are also 2 food trucks serving up tasty snacks on the go. Aralia House out on the offshore island is amazing.
- Get a transfer in a Rolls Royce from the airport if you stay in a Butler Elite suite! All other rooms also get regular transfers.
- Includes a private offshore island with absolutely pristine white sand beaches.
- You can go swimming with the pigs of Exuma by getting a day tour island hopping!
- Unlimited water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and Hobie Cats.
- Land sports like tennis, pickleball, and beach volleyball.
- A lively atmosphere (more so than some of the other locations) with excellent nightly entertainment options.

Sandals Royal Barbados was opened in 2017 as the newest Sandals in Barbados. The neighboring Sandals, Sandals Barbados, was opened a couple years earlier in 2015. The good news is that you get full access to both properties regardless of which one you stay in!
The difference is that Royal Barbados is a luxury all-suite resort. This means that there are only Club and Butler Level suites available here. From Skypool Suites and Swim-Up Suites, to Rondoval Villas, it doesn’t take long to realize that the accommodations here are a notch above.
When you include Sandals Barbados next door, you get a full 21 restaurants, 14 bars, and 11 pools to choose from! Each one has a unique offering whether it’s authentic Caribbean cuisine or Japanese Teppanyaki, there’s something for all cravings. I recommend getting a reservation for La Parisienne on the rooftop at around 5:30 PM for fantastic sunset views.
There are also a lot of details that make this property particularly unique. It’s the only Sandals with a bowling alley and rooftop infinity pool. You can also get a private transfer in a Rolls Royce to and from the airport if you book a Butler Elite suite. I love these special touches that make your vacation an unforgettable experience.
What we love about Sandals Royal Barbados:
- The rooftop infinity pool here is super cool and has the best sunset views.
- You get full access to Sandals Barbados which is just a short 2 minute walk. That mean there are 21 restaurants you can choose from.
- Rolls Royce transfers from the airport and expedited immigration if you stay in a Butler Elite suite! Club level rooms also get regular transfers.

- A more posh, upscale, vibe than some of the other locations.

Notable Recent Renovations
One of the reasons I like Sandals Resorts is because they are constantly updating and renovating their existing resorts in addition to opening new ones. There are several notable renovations that have been completed in the last few years in St. Lucia and Jamaica that are worth noting. Importantly, Sandals South Coast, Montego Bay, and Royal Caribbean are currently undergoing renovations due to Hurricane Melissa and will reopen on May 30th, 2026, however you can still make your bookings for them now.
- Sandals Regency La Toc: This multimillion dollar upgrade to Regency La Toc makes it the newest addition to a Sandals in St. Lucia. The renovation began in 2022 and completed in 2025. Most notably, they added an entire Rondoval Village including the exclusive Rondoval Butler Sky Villas that have a rooftop terrace. That is in addition to broader upgrades to the spa and dining facilities. There are three Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia, so you also get full access to the other 2 properties when you stay here.
- Sandals Montego Bay: Where it all began over 40 years ago, Montego Bay. The flagship property underwent an upgrade in 2018 with a reimagined main lobby, new rooms, and a conference center. They also added several new restaurants like Butch’s Steakhouse and Latitudes, the overwater bar which is very cool.
- Sandals Royal Caribbean: Right next to Sandals Montego Bay is the Royal Caribbean. In 2021 the resorted created 48 new swim-up suites that are attached to the Crystal Lagoon pool. Additionally, three new restaurants were added, included Bombay Club, La Tavola, and Spices. You get full access to Montego Bay next door when you stay here too.
- Sandals South Coast: This low-key Jamaican retreat made significant upgrades in 2024. For starters, the Longbeach Village at Sandals South Coast had a complete facelift with new swim-up suites and tranquility soaking tubs added to all rooms. A new Rondoval Village with a winding river pool through it that offers swim-up access to the suites is absolutely stunning. A major addition was the overwater chapel for wedding ceremonies, this is brand new. Several of the restaurants were also upgraded. Lastly, the overwater bungalows have also been updated and look top notch.
